I’m joining Pelican+
I have been keeping this announcement under wraps for a while now, but I’m excited to share with you about a new opportunity that has presented itself. I’ll be hosting a show called “Life with Angela” on Pelican+. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I’m looking forward to having an exclusive show focused primarily on Life issues. Anti-abortion activism has always been a preeminent passion of mine, and I am excited to have a chance to share that love with you.
The last few years have been a lot of fun. I’ve met hundreds of wonderful people and had the chance to learn from so many other amazing Catholics in this space. It was through some of these great people that I was given the opportunity to join a brand-new Catholic platform called Pelican+. Here’s the mission and what sets it apart:
“Owned and operated by Traditional Catholics, Pelican+ was born out of necessity. We saw a need for a streaming platform that is safe to use and aligned with our Catholic principles. A prayer app guided by devotion, not celebrity. A forum where thoughtful contributors enrich users with their writings. And so much more.”
Life with Angela
My new show, “Life with Angela,” is a weekly show that will delve into current life issues to inform and equip you to engage on the most difficult issues of our day. I’m looking forward to sharing my diverse knowledge and background with you in this brand new show!
For those of you who have followed me for a long time, you might remember that before I was a SAHM, I worked in the pro-life movement, first, as an activist and regional director for Students for Life of America. I gained a lot of experience in apologetics, political campaigning, organizing and starting student groups, and doing media. It was a grueling job, and not suitable for motherhood (in my opinion), so I moved on once I had my first daughter.
After her birth, I began working as the director of a small pregnancy medical center that was getting its bearings in my county. Today, it’s a roaring success, and I’m so proud of having played a small role in establishing such an essential resource in our community.
From there, I spent a year cultivating major donors for LifeSiteNews.com. It was an enjoyable time, and I’m forever grateful for my time there. I ended my career-hopping to stay home with my kids, as I became thoroughly convinced that the traveling my job required was not a good fit, especially given the very young ages of my children. I knew they needed me more than we needed money, and I was still doing prolife work— just in the walls of our home instead.
For the last 9 years, I’ve co-hosted a prolife radio show called Living the Gospel of Life out of the Twin Cities, and I’m currently a board member for one of the oldest sidewalk counseling organizations in the country. I’ve kept my finger on the pulse of life issues at the local, national, and international levels for years. I hope that Life with Angela informs and equips my audience with the knowledge and skills necessary to build and defend a culture of life in their homes and the modern world.
Life with Angela will have two primary segments- I’ll cover top news stories with a segment called “Life Lines,” and I’ll end the show with a segment called “Ask Ange,” where I will answer your questions for a Q & A.
